Spicy Roasted Makhana is a crispy, crunchy, healthy, and extremely delicious tea time snack. It is a light and easy snack prepared with phool makhana aka fox nuts aka lotus seeds.
Cook time: 10 mins
1. Makhana – 3 cups
2. Turmeric powder – ¼ teaspoon
3. Red chilli powder – ½ teaspoon
4. Chaat masala -1 teaspoon
5. Salt- as required
6. Ghee/oil – 2-3 teaspoon
1. Heat oil/ghee in a pan.
2. Add Makhana and roast it for 8-10 mins on low flame till it becomes crunchy.
3. Add all the powders ( turmeric, red chilli, chaat masala, salt).
4. Mix well.
Tada…. Your Spicy Roasted Makhana is ready. You can adjust the seasoning as per your liking.
You can serve it straight away or you can cool it and store in an air-tight container.
